Begin with the time you actually have
Write down your international arrival and departure dates before choosing parks. Then separate full days from travel days. A holiday can look spacious on paper until airport transfers, connections and onward journeys are accounted for.
Share any flights already booked with Sule. Ask for a proposal that identifies transfer days clearly and explains which activities are realistic on each day. Avoid paying for separate components until their timings work together.
Choose a style before choosing every stop
Think about what matters most: time observing wildlife, a particular park, a comfortable room, fewer accommodation changes or a lower overall budget. Rank those priorities. This gives the person planning your trip something more useful than a long list of destinations.
Tanzania’s national park fees vary by park and visitor category; TANAPA publishes the official fee information. Instead of relying on a headline package price, ask for an itemised quote that states which park fees, transfers, meals and activities are included.
Compare proposals on the same basis
Ask whether the safari vehicle is private or shared, what accommodation is proposed, and how changes would affect the quote. Confirm the number of nights, room arrangements and any extra costs. A budget, mid-range or luxury label is less helpful than specific details.
If you are travelling with children, share their ages privately with the operator when needed for planning. Explain any dietary or mobility requirements before the itinerary is agreed. Do not assume all properties or activities can accommodate every request.
Keep the beach part a holiday
Choose whether you would prefer the beach before or after the safari, and discuss the practical tradeoffs with Sule. Leave enough flexibility for a relaxed transition between the two parts of the trip. The right balance depends on your flights and priorities.
